私が交通量調査をやろうと思った理由
お金がない
これが１番です。
ラブホのバイトを秋に辞め、しばらく働いていなかった私はなかなかの金欠でした。
ラブホテル清掃アルバイトの実態。実際に働いていた女子大生が明かす。
「全身脱毛のローンの振り込みが迫っている！！！やばい！！！」
交通量調査なら日勤でそれなりにもらえるし、日払いなのですぐに現金が手に入る！！
ということでやってみることにしました。
他にもじっとしていることが苦でないことから向いてるだろうなと思った、という理由もあります。
今回私がやってみた交通量調査
- 東京都内某所
- 警視庁実施の調査
- 朝６時集合
- 午前７時～午後７時までの１２時間拘束（実質労働８時間）
- 給料１４０００円（交通費込み）
当為
計測したら１時間ごとに用紙に記入。
調べる車種や自転車
勤務先にもよりますが、基本的には以下の６車種分類です。
- 乗用車 軽乗用車（車頭５）、乗用車（車頭３・５・７）
- 小型貨物車 軽貨物車（車頭４）、小型貨物車（車頭４・６）、貨客車（車頭４）
- バス バス（車頭２）
- 普通貨物車 普通貨物車（車頭１）、特殊車（車頭８・９・０）
- 二輪車 自動二輪車 原付含む
- 車道通行自転車 自転車
車頭番号とは？
上記の表の車種の後につく「車頭」とは「車頭番号」のことです。
車頭番号とは、車のナンバープレートの車籍地の横に記された番号の頭文字です。
大体は車の形を見ればどの車種かわかりますが、小型貨物車と普通貨物車などはたまにわからなくなるので、車頭番号を見て判断しています。
アルバイトの男女比は9:1、全体の人数は30人くらい
様々な場所に分かれて行うので、全体の人数は３０人くらい。
男女比は男性９割、女性１割くらいでした。
全体の３割くらいは学生と主婦らしき方々、それ以外は３０～６０代くらいの男性がほとんどでした。
若い女性は私くらいだったので、おそらく女子大生は私１人。
なかなかにアウェイな職場でした。
各調査場所ごとに３人ずつ班を作るのですが、私の班は４０代くらいの男性Aと２０代後半くらいの男性B、私。
男性Aは慣れた感じで仕事をしていましたが、男性Bは経験者と言いながらかなりあやしい仕事ぶり…
引継ぐ時の記入漏れもすごいし、でも調査会社の方もそこまでちゃんと見てないからそれでペナルティがあるわけでもないし…
ちらっと見たら左手の薬指に指輪が光っているではありませんか！

交通量調査の給料
今回は１２時間で１４０００円でしたが、求人を探してみるとこの案件は結構高額だったようで、相場は８０００円～１２０００円くらいです。
実労働時間を考えればそれなりに給料は良いですが、拘束時間が長いことや、休憩時間にお店に入るとお金がかかることを考えると、そこまで高い給料というわけではないように感じます。
基本的に給料は勤務終了時に手渡しでもらえます。
交通量調査の服装
基本的に、サンダルやノースリーブ、ハーフパンツ等を避ければ問題ありません。
当日もらった注意事項が書かれた紙にも、
当日の服装は清潔なものとし、周囲に不快感を与えるような服装は厳禁。（サンダル不可）
とだけあります。
ただ調査会社によっては、スーツやモノトーンでまとめる等の規定があることも。
私は紺の丈の長いダッフルコートに、黒のスキニーパンツ、黒のスニーカー、防寒で灰色のニット帽をかぶっていました。
マスクもして大丈夫です。むしろ排気ガスがすごいので必ずマスクすることをおすすめします。
調査中に喫煙、飲食、読書、スマホ、音楽はOK?
だめです！！（笑）
特に調査中に音楽が聴ける！なんてのはよくネットの記事などで目にしますが、基本的に調査中に調査以外のことをするのはだめです。
しかし、調査会社の方も調査の初めの頃に少し見に来るだけであとはほったらかしみたいな感じなので、イヤホンを耳に仕込んでおいてもおそらくバレません…
また調査中にスマートフォンを操作するのは時間確認のためであっても許可されていません。
時計は別に腕時計等を持参しましょう。
交通量調査をしているとたまに人に話しかけられる。
交差点のところでずっと座ってカウンターをカチカチしているので、たまに信号待ちの歩行者に話しかけられることがあります。
今回は話しかけられるパターンを２つ紹介します。
➀ 道を聞いてくるおばさん
横断歩道の信号が青に変わった瞬間、私は左折して流入してくる車のカウントをすべく、それ用のカウンターを握りしめるのですが、そこに横断歩道を全力疾走してくるおばさんが。
私のことが目に入るなり、猛スピードで駆け寄ってきます。
私はなんだなんだ！！！と思っていると、
「ちょっとお姉さん！！！！
○○○ってどこ？！！！知らない？！！！」
全く土地勘のない場所だったので「すみません、わかりません。」と応答。
「そうなの？！！！ごめんね！！！！頑張ってね！！！」
と嵐のように去っていきました。
➁ 交通量調査って大変ですか？と聞いてくるお兄さん
すっかり太陽も沈み、もうすぐ調査も終わりに近づいた頃。
いきなり２人組の２０代前半くらいのお兄さんたちがこちらに向かって歩いて来ました。
なにごとかと思っていると、
「あの、すみません。交通量調査ですか？」
「派遣とかでやるやつですよね？」
「こういう仕事ってどうですか？大変ですか？」
と質問責め。
「寒いのとじっとしてるのが平気なら楽ですよ。」
と無難に答えておきました。
実際に働いてみた感想
大体の調査が午前７時からで、朝が苦手な私は頑張って起きました。
最初は、眠いし拘束時間も長いし周りに同世代の人もいなかったので、１日苦痛だなと思っていたのですが、案外誰にも干渉されずに仕事ができるので、自分には合っていると感じました。
調査時間も８時間と長いですが、やることはあるので退屈せず時間の流れは速く感じました。
ただとにかく寒い…！！！
ずっと屋外にいるので防寒対策は必須です。
最後に
日雇いで１日だけと思えば給料もすぐに入るので個人的にはアリなバイトです。
